Meet Becky Johnson: Bayberry Commons’ New Executive Director

With more than 20 years of senior living experience, Becky brings a deep commitment to resident well-being, team leadership and dedication to creating a welcoming environment where people can feel at home. Her background includes leadership roles in assisted living and memory care communities throughout Oregon, with extensive experience in operations, staffing and resident satisfaction.
But what stands out most about Becky isn’t what’s listed on her resume – it’s the impact she has on the people around her.
A Leader Known for Kindness
Before joining Bayberry Commons, Becky served as an administrator at another senior living community in Springfield. Earlier this year, she was featured in KEZI 9 News’ Kindness in Our Community segment after colleagues shared stories about the meaningful connections she built with residents.
Former coworkers describe Becky as someone who consistently goes beyond her role to make residents feel seen, heard and valued. Whether spending time listening to stories, joining residents for activities or simply offering a friendly smile, Becky approaches her work with genuine care and compassion.
