Early in my brother’s stay at Mountain Park, he was involved in playing Bingo in the activity room. When I came to visit he was so happy to tell me that he had won at Bingo and the prize was a chocolate! It was a great intro for him to the many other activities like karaoke, movie nights, and excursions like going to the Tulip Farm. Getting out and about from time to time adds so much interest to his days, even if it is just a drive around local sights. We have also been so impressed with all the staff and they provide a positive and friendly atmosphere.

Moving my mother into a Memory Care community was a very challenging decision but in the end one of the best choices. I looked at 20 communities online and then toured my top 5. From the start Mountain Park was always on the top of my list and I was thrilled that it worked out that there was an opening. The bright and beautiful neighborhoods with access to outdoor space was unrivaled. The care she has received confirms my choice was the right one. They really know her and understand her needs and when something is wrong (she is mostly nonverbal). And their activities program has grown and developed into a really enriching program. It truly is her home now and she is happy and safe!
