There is no buy-in fee to reside at Sunnycrest Senior Living. Our community does not lock you into any long-term contracts and requires only a set monthly fee.
No, there is no long-term lease at Sunnycrest. Rent is month to month and includes dining, housekeeping, Wi-Fi, cable, utilities, local transportation, exterior maintenance, planned activities, on-site entertainment and all amenities. This allows each resident and their family flexibility should their needs change.
They have recently upgraded and refurbished the facility as well.
If you have a loved one that needs a high quality, affordable independent living facility, you will not go wrong with sunnycrest.
At that time we had no Executive Director, and only a few other managers, no Chef, and shortages of cooks, kitchen staff, dining staff, Med-Techs, Caregivers and Housekeepers. The shortages were made up with agency personnel which was a disaster. This was partly due to Sunnycrest recovering from Covid and the rest was from the terrible mismanagement of Sunnycrest. Over the past two years Melanie has put together an excellent management team who are well qualified, accessible and, most importantly, providing a friendly environment for Residents. We now have a 5 star Chef, kitchen and dining staff also, top quality Med-Techs and Caregivers and no more agency personnel.
We just went through a major facility upgrade that was almost transparent to residents and this was because of Melanie’s excellent management skills. The workman were very friendly and accommodating to all Residents and tried to make the impact on us minimal. The Executive Director, managers, and all the staff are the best I’ve ever seen at Sunnycrest, they are all accessible, and extremely friendly and helpful. Considering these people completely filled all positions over the past several years, and are now a well-defined operating group today, is amazing. The management and staff are what make Sunnycrest great. What does this mean to me? I love this place! I don’t just live here, I call Sunnycrest my home, and always will under the leadership of Melanie Washington.
