Friendly staff. Excellent care For my mom.

My mother in law was at Sunnycrest for a year. We were very happy with her time there. She loved the staff, they took excellent care of her. Her doctors were very happy with her care there. Her doctors said Sunnycrest did a great job overseeing her medically and they could see it in her labs, tests and overall improved health she experienced while living at Sunnycrest.

The staff was kind and caring. My mother in law felt safe and cared for at Sunnycrest.

This review is for the tour, onboarding, etc process.

Diana has been amazing and is an advocate for her residents. My grandma moves in tomorrow and Diana has made the process as seamless as possible.

I have high hopes that my grandma will love the place and our experience will continue to be great. If the experience so far is any indication, I think my wishes will be granted.

My father had a great experience here for more than 6 years. He made many friends, including staff and nursing team whom he adored. The rooms are large and well maintained. The kitchen is generally pretty good and invites families to participate in meals and enjoy the food. The med-tech team is second to none and I credit them with many life saving actions on behalf of my father. We consider them all part of our family. I highly recommend Sunny Crest in Fullerton.

Quality Assisted Living at a reasonable rate.

My husband stayed at this location for a short time on Respite. It was very clean and fresh. I greatly appreciated Diana Robinson and Blanca for giving me the attention that I truly needed at this time? They and the staff quickly addressed any concerns I had during my husband’s stay. Sunnycrest was a wonderful place to visit. I Took my friend to visit during the grand reopening. Sunnycrest is a beautiful community. We enjoyed seeing the apartments, how beautiful the rooms were. The outside space so pleasant and inviting. We had some tasty appetizers and snacks. The staff were all very welcoming. When my friend is ready to make the move Sunnycrest is definitely a top contender.

Sunny Crest is a bright & beautiful residential place ~ I came to consider it for my elderly folks [who are not quite ready to enter assisted living], but I would love to see them enjoy such a positive & caring environment…all the lively activities, and getting to social with those in their age group daily!

Both my parents have both lived at sunnycrest. Although my has passed since last year, the staff are very communicative, and are very friendly.
They have recently upgraded and refurbished the facility as well.
If you have a loved one that needs a high quality, affordable independent living facility, you will not go wrong with sunnycrest.

I’ve lived at Sunnycrest 11 years going on 12. I’ve seen the facility go from family owned to company owned. I’ve seen major changes in Executive Directors, Directors and Managers. Major changes in Med-Techs, Caregiver, Dining staff, Kitchen staff and a prior and complete facility upgrade. So, I felt I’ve seen it all with my tenure at Sunnycrest until about two years ago this July, when Melanie Washington arrived at Sunnycrest.
At that time we had no Executive Director, and only a few other managers, no Chef, and shortages of cooks, kitchen staff, dining staff, Med-Techs, Caregivers and Housekeepers. The shortages were made up with agency personnel which was a disaster. This was partly due to Sunnycrest recovering from Covid and the rest was from the terrible mismanagement of Sunnycrest. Over the past two years Melanie has put together an excellent management team who are well qualified, accessible and, most importantly, providing a friendly environment for Residents. We now have a 5 star Chef, kitchen and dining staff also, top quality Med-Techs and Caregivers and no more agency personnel.
We just went through a major facility upgrade that was almost transparent to residents and this was because of Melanie’s excellent management skills. The workman were very friendly and accommodating to all Residents and tried to make the impact on us minimal. The Executive Director, managers, and all the staff are the best I’ve ever seen at Sunnycrest, they are all accessible, and extremely friendly and helpful. Considering these people completely filled all positions over the past several years, and are now a well-defined operating group today, is amazing. The management and staff are what make Sunnycrest great. What does this mean to me? I love this place! I don’t just live here, I call Sunnycrest my home, and always will under the leadership of Melanie Washington.
